Continuum Autism Spectrum Alliance serves Colorado Springs, Colorado and surrounding areas. During the assessment process, each child receives a comprehensive functional assessment that identifies core deficits and problem behaviors that may be interfering with the child’s ability to learn and participate in daily life at home, school and in the community. Every child’s program is individualized to meet his or her needs, learning style and guided by what is developmentally expected.

Dee Hiatt, MNM, MS, BCBA
Dee Hiatt received her BCBA Certification in 2014. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a MA degree in Counseling. She also holds a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management and a BA in English. Dee spent over 15 years working in public health and in the nonprofit sector before deciding to dedicate her career to working with individuals with autism and other disabilities. She has worked with a variety of persons with developmental and intellectual disabilities, as well as applied the principles of behavior analysis in organizational and group settings. She works with young children, grade-schoolers and adults. In her free time, Dee enjoys digging in her garden, practicing yoga and spending time with her family.
Amanda Oakley, M.Ed, BCBA
Board Certified/Licensed Behavior Analyst
Amanda Oakley is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with Continuum. Amanda has a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from NC State University, a Master’s in School Counseling from University of Maryland University College, and a post-graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Kaplan University. Amanda has been in the ABA field for ten years; working as a direct therapist for 9 years, and a BCBA since November 2014. Although not directly running ABA programs, she supported students on the autism spectrum during her time as a school counselor by facilitating social skills groups and homework assistance programs. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time with her loved ones and two Labradors.
Jennifer Kent, M.Ed., RBT
Jennifer Kent is a Junior Consultant at Continuum Autism Spectrum Alliance. She received her Master of Education from St. John Fisher College, where she was a duel major in general education and special education. Originally from New Jersey, Jennifer decided to move to Rochester, NY to pursue an opportunity working with children with special needs. She has worked with children and adults with developmental disabilities for over six years and decided to begin classes for her BCBA. In July 2014, Jennifer began class at the University of West Florida where she studied Applied Behavior Analysis, and graduated in November 2015. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and spending quality time with her child, husband, and family.
Ashley Martinez, B.A., RBT
Ashley Martinez is a Junior Consultant at Continuum Autism Spectrum Alliance. She received her BA in Elementary Education with endorsements in special education from the University of Northern Colorado in 2011. She is also currently a Registered Behavior Technician and will be receiving her Masters of Education in 2017 and is also working on her BCBA. Ashley has worked with students with special needs for over 10 years teaching in Colorado schools and working in homes with students who were unable to attend school due to behavioral and health concerns. In her spare time Ashley loves being outdoors, cooking, reading and spending time with her family.
